Village set to hold Christmas festival

A village is set to hold its popular Christmas festival today (Saturday December 5).

The tenth BilliFest Family Fun Day and Christmas Fayre is being held in the heart of Billingshurst and promises to be the best ever.

More than 30 stallholders will be present from 9am until 4pm, displaying their goods in Billinghurst’s High Street and Jengers Mead.

A raffle, with more than 50 prizes, a Santa’s grotto, music and food will also be on offer for visitors.

The festival, organised by the Billingshurst Community Partnership, is the community’s major winter event attracting more than 1,500 people with entertainment for all ages.

Ken Johnson, chairman of the partnership’s organising team, said: “This will be a BilliFest not to miss and a great event for the children and for buying Christmas presents.”
