VIDEO: Dramatic scenes as firefighters fight Worthing Pier blaze

Six fire engines were called to a fire at Worthing Pier yesterday evening.

Crews were supported by coastguard teams and RNLI volunteers from Shoreham.

The fire has since been extinguished.

Mr Mitchell has since praised the efforts of emergency services for ‘saving the pier’.
