Vandalism forces Southwater Skate Park to close
Southwater Skate Park will close from tomorrow (Friday April 11) after again being the target of vandalism.
A Facebook post from Southwater Youth Project said the skate park will be closed ‘predominantly due to health and safety issues’.
The statement continues: “The parish council are aware that individuals may have cut down small sapling trees, had bonfires and have camped on site. Please note that all are strictly prohibited on this site.
“If you have any information on who may be causing the damage please contact the Southwater Youth Work, PCSO or the Parish Office.”
