UPDATE: Residents ‘shocked’ after Broadfield incident

Police have launched an investigation after three men were involved in an altercation just before 10pm where they believe a man may have been forced into a vehicle, possibly a Silver BMW, before being driven away.

Valentine Ogwu lives near the incident and said he was very shocked by what had gone on.

He said his partner had been watching Game of Thrones at the time of the incident and the noise had pulled her away from away from the television.

He continued: “It must have been quite loud. I was at work at the time but my misses was at home but she said it happened at 10pm.

“She said they threw something out of the window of the car. I don’t think they live around here as two BMWs a white and a black one kept coming up and down the road.

“It’s shocking. I have lived here since 2009 and I have never know anything like this happening. This is the first time.

“I was coming back at midnight and the road was closed off.

“What would make two adults argue in the middle of the street at 10pm? It doesn’t make any sense what so ever.”

Another resident who also lives near the incident added: “I feel relieved now they are gone.

“We just didn’t know what was going on, it was a bit scary.”
