On the day of the incident the school on Bishop Luffa Close, sent a letter to parents written from Mrs Weaden, director of pupil welfare.

The letter reads: “Dear parent, please be aware of an incident which occurred just before the end of school.

“A man exposed himself to a member of the public near the mini roundabout on the junction of Sherborne Road and Westgate.

“The incident has been reported to the police but if your child walks/cycles to school, the advice is to ensure they do so with a friend and remain vigilant.”
