UPDATE: Chichester road re-open after crash outside police station

Basin Road in Chichester is now re-open following an accident this morning involving a cyclist and a car.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 8.14am today (December 11) and police said a cyclist was taken to hospital after colliding with a car.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The female cyclist was being attended to by paramedics at 8.34am.

“The road is closed while the incident is being dealt with.

“An air ambulance landed at the scene at about 8.45am.”
