Trio make 10,000ft jump for St Wilfrid's

Three family members took to the skies together for a charity parachute jump.

Dave Lambourne from Fishbourne completed a 10,000ft tandem jump to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in memory of his wife, Doffy.

His niece Alison Lacey and her daughter Gail also did the jump with the GO Skydive team at Old Sarum Airfield, Salisbury.

Daughter Heidi Harrison, from Tangmere, said: “Dad completed his second parachute jump in memory of Mum. They were all put on the same plane and came out one after the other.

“Alison had done a parachute jump before in Hawaii but it was Gail’s first time. She was rather nervous but on landing she was grinning and said it was ‘amazing’. Dad and Alison loved it too.

“Dad said he managed to take in a lot more this time, all the countryside around him, the Cathedral, the archaeological dig and all the houses.”

Heidi was there with her husband Ivor and Gail’s son Jack to support them.
