Travellers take over Civic Centre car park

Residents and office workers are reporting a large number of caravans in Ham Road this morning.

Yesterday, West Sussex County Council reported 11 caravans at Albion Street Lorry Park in Southwick.

The council served them all with a Notice of Direction requiring them to leave by this morning.

There were also problems with travellers in Southwick at the weekend, forcing Carats Café to close on Sunday.
