Witness appeal after man injured in Chichester

Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was injured in a collision with a cyclist in Chichester.

At around 10.30am on Thursday (June 8) an elderly pedestrian suffered serious injuries after colliding with a cyclist in North Street outside the Robert Dyas Store.

The pedestrian, who is in his 80s, has fallen to the floor causing serious injuries and the cyclist left the scene. He was taken to St Richard’s Hospital where he remains.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them or for the cyclist to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1020 of 8/6.
