VIDEO: Footage shows road chaos following chip fat spillage

The A24 was jammed after a ‘used chip fat oil’ spillage at the Washington roundabout yesterday (Wednesday, June 24).

The video shows West Sussex Road Policing Unit directing traffic.

The unit said the road was ‘contaminated with what appears to be used chip fat oil’ on Twitter.

Police directed queueing traffic after the spillage partially blocked the road.
