VIDEO: Boy, 8, in hospital after bike collision

An eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital after his bicycle collided with a stationary object yesterday (Tuesday September 10), says Sussex Air Ambulance Service.

Emergency services were called to the Link Lane in Pulborough at 3.43pm.

The boy suffered abdominal injuries and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.

The Sussex Air Ambulance was also called but later stood down.

In a mission report the service stated the victim had collided with a stationary object.
