UPDATE: Teenager injured after fall from skateboard in Horsham Park

A teenage boy was taken to hospital after falling from his skateboard and suffering head injuries in Horsham Park yesterday evening (Wednesday September 10).

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said the 16-year-old fell from a height, and may have also sustained spinal injuries.

Emergency services including a paramedic car, a community responder, an ambulance and Sussex Air Ambulance attended the scene at the skate park.

The air ambulance was called at about 7.40pm, and later landed in Horsham Park.

The teenager was taken to St George’s Hospital in London by road.
