UPDATE: Delays on M23 near Gatwick after accident
An accident caused traffic delays on the M23 near Gatwick earlier this morning (August 23).
Two lanes were blocked at around 8.15am and there was queueing traffic on the M23 northbound between junction 9, M23 (Gatwick Airport) and M25 junction 7.
The incident involved one vehicles and no one was injured, although paramedics attended.
Lanes two and three were blocked but recovery work was finished at around 8.45am and the lanes re-opened, though congestion has remained while the traffic backlog clears.
