Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Handcross collision

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a car on the B2114 Brighton Road at Handcross on Friday (March 28).

The 41-year old Horsham man was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle when the collision with a silver Toyota Avensis occurred at about 10.50am.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious back and shoulder injuries, but his condition was not assessed as life threatening.

The driver of the car was uninjured.
