He has been named as Robert Worrall, 30, from Beare Green.

In a statement, his family said: “We are devastated as a family to have lost such a dear brother, son, and uncle. Robert was loved by so many people and was lucky to have grown up surrounded by so many loyal friends.

“Rob was a thrill-seeker and threw himself into everything he did. He recently bought a t-shirt which had ‘Just Do It’ written on it. This typified him.

“Snowboarding was a huge passion of his and he enjoyed many happy times with his friends on holidays in Austria and France. We can imagine him now, snowboarding through the clouds.

“He was incredibly generous and always showed caring. He was always a hard and proud worker and spent ten happy years working as a gardener at Groundscapes of Capel.”

His family described Robert as ‘irreplaceable’ and thanked friends and colleagues for support.

The statement said: “We would like to thank all of our family and friends for their overwhelming support at this time which has helped us with the horror of what’s happened.
