Cow rescued from Ashurst mud pond
Firefighters rescued a cow after the animal became stuck in a mud pond in Ashurst yesterday afternoon (Wednesday August 28).
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service’s Technical Rescue Unit were called to Honeybrodge Lane at around 5.30pm.
Using animal line rescue equipment they pulled the cow to safety.
