Townspeople facing huge precept hike
Arundel residents are facing a whopping 33.62 per cent increase in the town's council tax precept next year.
The proposed rise follows a 'financial mess' discovered by town clerk Peter Welch when he took on the job earlier this year.
He discovered huge debts and shortfalls- and now it seems Arundel residents will have to pay for the town council's previous shortcomings and mis-management.
