A toddler was flown to hospital after falling out of a second floor flat window, police have said.
Emergency services were called to a block of flats in Crawley at 6.10pm yesterday (Wednesday August 17).
Police said the young girl had fallen two flights from an open window on to a grass area outside the block.
The Air Ambulance was also called.
She was flown to St George’s Hospital in South London to be treated for serious injuries, officers said.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The parents were taken by police car to the hospital to be with their child and are being given every possible support at this time.
“There are no suspicious circumstances but police enquiries are being made, working with other agencies, to establish the exact circumstances.”
