TODDLER DIES AND ANOTHER BODY IS FOUND

Arun Leon Watkins, aged two, was found about a mile out to sea at around 6.50pm on Sunday. He was taken to Worthing Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The discovery sparked a huge air and sea search operation involving Littlehampton RNLI Coastguard rescue teams and helicopters, West Sussex Fire and Rescue, plus vessels in the area, all trying to find the boy's father, Alan Watkins (50)

At 3.45pm on Tuesday afternoon, a kite surfer told police of a sighting of a body 300 to 400 metres out to sea, directly south of Littlehampton Swimming Centre.
