Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a leadership training programme for teenagers. This year Georgina Ferrier and Taiga Kobayashi from Glebelands School were the lucky people to attend High Ashurst Outdoor Activity Centre at Box Hill, near Dorking. The pair enjoyed meeting other students from many different places taking part in outdoor activities, including raft building, abseiling, kayaking and sleeping overnight in tepees.

Telling club members about their time there they agreed they had learned many new skills. Georgina said: “I wish it had been longer.”
