Tim provided a special Easter message for everyone on social media with the Tweet: “Happy Easter everyone - and many thanks as always for the lovely messages.”

While he continues to provide numerous dramatic photos from space and take part in various experiments there’s been plenty of time for him to receive messages from Earth with the accent on Easter puns.

“Here is one for @astro_timpeake “Egg-cellent egg-pedition with Tim Peake the egg-stronaut!” #DecoratedEggs”

Tim Peake arrived at the ISS on December 15 2015 and his mission is due to last six months.
