Sue Fairley, head of product technology and quality, was delighted to welcome the students and staff who enjoyed an informative and insightful talk and Q&A session.

Clare Woods, who teaches business studies at Collyer’s explained: “E-commerce is one of the key focuses for the A2 business exam, so it was important the students were able to see for themselves this kind of work at a top institution like Charles Tyrwhitt.”

The trip was organised by Clare Woods and subject leader for business, Roger Raymond, who accompanied ten students up to London for the event.

Roger Raymond said: “Massive thanks to Sue Fairley and all the team at Charles Tyrwhitt for helping us to organise this wonderful educational opportunity. The students gained a fascinating insight into e-commerce and I’m confident that they can take this through to their all-important A2 exams.”

Clare Woods added: “I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I know the students really appreciated the hospitality of Charles Tyrwhitt.”

Collyer’s Assistant Principal Melanie Russell: “What a great experience for our business students! Thank-you so much to all at Charles Tyrwhitt and to our very own Roger and Clare for organising everything.”
