Storrington dance school RDA Dancing had a successful weekend at the National Association of Teachers of Dancing’s (NATD) Medallist of the Year competition in Blackpool.

Our pupils competed against dancers from 22 other dance schools covering the length and breadth of Britain, including a school from Malta.

All our dancers reached the Finals of their events, and in addition to this we are able to boast three outright category wins.

Established in 2010, after watching their three children compete on the international competitive circuit, Wayne and Gaynor (Principal Teachers) decided to bring a close to their own competitive careers, and focus instead on teaching.

Their goal is to pass on their knowledge and experience so that others may enjoy the wonderful world of Ballroom dancing from grass root level, to wherever  you want to take it.

RDA Dancing are able to provide tuition at the correct level for whatever our clients want to achieve. From absolute beginners classes, social dancing, Wedding dance preparation, Cruise preparation, Prom dances, Medal tests, and competitive performance tuition.

RDA Dancing is now a well established Dance school providing quality tuition across the Counties of West Sussex and Surrey with a loyal client base of well over 150 pupils attending classes at four venues. Our main teaching venue in West Sussex is in Storrington.

Our Teachers are NATD qualified and DBS checked, and boast a wealth of dancing experience gained over almost 30 years. RDA Teachers are qualified and registered with the NATD. We are therefore able to offer Examinations and  tuition in line with the NATD Syllabus, and boasts a 100 per cent student pass record, with 90 per cent of our pupils achieving a pass standard of Highly Commended in their Exams.

We have also coached our competitive students to a level which enabled them to qualify to take part in the prestigious annual Medalist of the Year competition which is held in Blackpool’s famous Ballroom.
