“It is already very competitively priced at £215,000, but if it means I have to sell it at well below market value then I am willing to accept that. It is the best priced one bedroom retirement apartment on Foxmead Court and well below the price of other similar one bedroom properties.”
When asked how long he would be prepared to go on reducing the property by £1,000 per week, John Parker replied that it would be until it was sold, although already being so well priced he is hopeful it will not be for very long. The last sale price of one bedroom apartment at Foxmead Court was in May 2018 for £240,000 so it is really a bit of a steal already.
“Even if you go back some four years to when the development was constructed from new you will not find a one bedroom apartment that was sold for less than our one.”
