Horsham is preparing for a massive charity auction this afternoon (Saturday November 21) and is set to welcome a very special guest to present it.

National treasure Brian Blessed will be auctioning off a selection of colourful elephants from this year’s Elephantastic campaign to raise money for more than 65 local charities and causes.

The actor and film star is set to be joined by Bargain Hunt’s Jonathan Pratt from 2pm until 4pm at St John’s Church, in Springfield Road.

Some of the elephants have been signed by celebrities including Julie Walters, Peter Andre, the Harlequins Rugby Team and Marcus Butler and Niomi Smart.
