Moves to reduce the speed of traffic in two parts of Pound Hill and Worth could be a step closer.
Members of the East Crawley County Local Committee will be asked to approve the advertising of a proposed 20mph speed limit zone in Church Road and Street Hill, Worth, and also a traffic calming scheme in Grattons Drive, Pound Hill, when they meet on Thursday, November 8 at 7pm in Crawley Library.
The measures would be subject to a further period of public consultation, and would then only go ahead provided there are no overwhelming objections.
Committee chairman Richard Burrett said: “The speed of traffic has been identified as an issue in these parts of Pound Hill and Worth and we are very keen to hear people’s views prior to making our own recommendations.”
Members of the public are also invited to raise questions during an open forum.
