WORLD champion tap dancer Jamie Spall will be producing her own show for the Brighton Fringe.

The 18-year-old, who lives in Shoreham, has been a member of the England tap dance team since she was 11, gaining three world championship titles.

Brighton charity The Pebble Trust supports her training and this year has offered her the chance to produce her own show at the Rialto Theatre, in Dyke Road, Brighton, on May 24 at 8pm and again at 4pm on May 30, which is International Tap Dance Day.

Jamie said: “I am busy choreographing and directing the show and I am hoping to run a small competition in the local area to find a young tapper, aged 14 and under to introduce to the audience. They will also have the opportunity to perform a solo in my show.

“I am working with Glendale Theatre Arts School in Worthing but I would like to open the competition to anyone who would like to enter.”
