Reds skipper Josh Simpson is expected to return from his ankle injury in time for this Saturday’s important League 1 clash wih Yeovil at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
The midfielder has played only 45 minutes football so far this season having come off half-way through the opening game at Barnsley.
Manager John Gregory is looking forward to the game having bolstered his squad with the addition of four new signings in the last two weeks.
He said: “We’re likely to have a stronger team out with Keano (Keith Kean) and (Marvin) Elliott. They bring in 700 league appearances with them which is something we have been lacking in.
“Josh Simpson is back while Gwion Edwards and Joe Walsh are back from international duty. I’m looking for a home win. Yeovil have beaten Brentford and Peterborough last week who were top and are no mugs.
“Gary Johnston got them promoted to the Championship before they got relegated and they have some very good players.”
