Sculpture Challenge - readers' choice

THE winner of the Better Tomorrows Sculpture Challenge is Stuart Slade, 35, from Northbrook College.

However, we asked you to vote for your favourite and the readers' choice is 'A little effort can make beautiful things' by Abigail White and Sophie Haywood, both 17 from Chichester College, Brinsbury.

Students from Chichester College including the Brinsbury campus at Pulborough, Northbrook College in Worthing, Worthing College and Central Sussex College in Haywards Heath all took part in the challenge to produce a stunning array of work which has helped them to think about how they can create a greener future.

The competition was set up by Better Tomorrows, an independent not-for-profit company aimed at driving forward behavioural and cultural change within the county in order to meet the requirements of living in a more sustainable manner.

Students from each of the four colleges had to create their own sculptures which would reflect the Better Tomorrows message.
