With a live link to the Drury Lane Theatre, the pupils also participated in a range of challenges and had the chance to draw with Sir Quentin Blake, who illustrated Dahl’s works.

Year four leader Deb Harrocks said: “We sang collaboratively and had the opportunity to draw Willy Wonka with Sir Quentin Blake. To finish off our creative week the children delighted in dressing up as one of their favourite characters. Even the teachers joined in and shared their favourite parts of his stories. We even made up a new word. Everyone had a great time and looked absolutely Brillybraggs.”
