West Sussex county councillor remembered at meeting

A tribute was paid to Frank Wilkinson, the County Councillor who sadly died in July, at a meeting of Chanctonbury County Local Committee on Wednesday (September 11).

Chairman of the committee David Barling described Frank as a ‘very good friend’ at the beginning of the committee meeting.

He said: “Frank was a terrific chap who gave every ounce he had for the people of Storrington and West Sussex.

“He will be sadly missed. He was a good friend to this committee and a good friend to his constituents.”

Mr Barling also requested that a short silence was held after his comments, to remember Frank.
