Reform UK standing county council candidates in Mid Sussex

Several Reform UK candidates are standing in Mid Sussex for the West Sussex County Council election next month.

It was founded as the Brexit Party and then changed its name earlier this year.

Reform UK candidates standing next month are: Terence Gibbs (Burgess Hill East), Richard Rap (Cuckfield and Lucastes), Dave Macquire (East Grinstead South and Ashurst Wood) and Dominic Moorhouse (Worth Forest).

Mr Rap said: “Along with many other people, I have become increasingly disillusioned with the main stream political parties and so I decided to take action to instigate change.

“I feel passionately compelled to stand as a County Councillor for the Reform Party to bring about a more common-sense approach to local politics.

I feel strongly that local councillors should do everything in their power in help the shops survive in the high street and in particular by reducing business rates for them.”
