More online sessions on West of Ifield development plans

The second round of consultations into plans to build 3,250 homes west of Ifield will be held online on a first come first served basis.

The development – the first of three proposed neighbourhoods which could see 10,000 homes built over the next 30 years – is being worked up by Homes England, the government’s housing agency.

While the first consultation saw more than 700 residents attend a string of exhibitions in January 2020, Covid restrictions mean that will not be possible this time.

Instead, anyone who would like to take part in one of the three online sessions can register by emailing [email protected] or calling 07503 035 116 by 5pm on Monday March 15.

The sessions will be held on:

Thursday March 18 from 6pm to 7.30pm

Friday March 19 from 3,30pm to 5pm

Saturday March 20 from 10am to 11.30am

Further sessions will be added if needed.
