Horsham general election candidates attend final hustings of campaign

The final hustings event of the general election campaign in Horsham was held on Friday night (May 1).

Organised by West Sussex Humanists and Horsham Skeptics at Lavinia House the eight people hoping to succeed Francis Maude as Horsham MP were asked questions on science, evidence-based policy, human rights, and religion and belief.

Attendees were UKIP’s Roger Arthur, Labour’s Martyn Davis, Jim Duggan of the Peace Party, Darrin Green for the Green Party, Lib Dem Morwen Millson, Conservative Jeremy Quin, independent Jim Rae, and James Smith for the Something New Party.

The polls open for the general election and Horsham District Council elections tomorrow morning at 7am.
