Festival finances are getting a cash boost from county council Members of the Joint Western Arun Area County Local Committee (CLC).
Rox Music and Arts Festival was given £1500 towards infrastructure for this year’s festival.
The International Bognor Birdman Festival received £3,000 for scaffolding, safety boats, entertainments and publicity.
End of the Pier Film Festival received £1000 towards set-up costs.
The money is from the Community Initiative Fund, which the County Councillors receive from West Sussex County Council to support local groups that deliver benefit to our communities.
Other groups given grants were:
Bognor Vineyard given £500 towards its Furniture Storehouse project.
Carers’ Support Service was allocated £395 for the set-up costs of a new service.
Friends of Marine Park Gardens were given £1000 for replacement of railings for a viewing platform.
£600 given to Bognor Rugby Club for replacing topsoil.
