Bognor Regis' Royal Norfolk Hotel hoping to expand

A Bognor Regis hotel has submitted plans to increase its number of bedrooms.

The Royal Norfolk Hotel in The Esplanade is looking to make internal alterations to create an extra 11 bedrooms.

A lounge area on the ground floor would be converted to create an extra eight bedrooms, while conversion of rooms on the first and second floors would create the other three.

A planning application (BR/223/18/L) has been submitted to Arun District Council for the works.

This follows a similar proposal last year by the hotel owners Leisureplex to create an extra 18 bedrooms.
