Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, 19 August, a 45-year-old man and his family got off a train. Another man with a bike was behind them.

PC Billy Burstow said: “As the family left the train, and the doors closed, the man with the bike moved it aggressively towards the other man’s 15-year-old son, causing a minor leg injury.

“The boy’s father intervened, but was grabbed by the lapels and threatened by the man, as were other members of the family.

“Who is the man in the photo we have released? If you know him, please contact us.

Rail passengers and staff shouldn’t have to put up with aggressive behaviour on trains or at stations.”
