Sussex teenager shortlisted in RSPCA People’s Choice photo competition

A Sussex teenager has been shortlisted in the RSPCA People’s Choice online photo competition, featuring favourite animals and picture perfect pets as part of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards. Supporters can vote online for their favourite animal snap from a choice of 14 taken by young people aged 10 to 18.

Images include Loneliness by Liam Taylor, 18, from Littlehampton, showing his dog looking eagerly at the front door as a letter is posted. Others feature a cat asking for a hug, a collie at sunset and a gaggle of geese walking along a road. The winner of the RSPCA People’s Choice competition will receive £100 worth of vouchers, a trophy and a certificate.

Voting opened today at 12.30pm for one week only, closing on Tuesday March 16, at 12.30pm. The winner will be announced on the RSPCA’s Facebook page on Wednesday, March 17.
