Police said a window of an office at a garden centre in Brighton Road was forced open at around 4.30am on Thursday, December 3.

A search was made and a safe, believed to contain a few hundred pounds, was removed.

Police added another office on the same site was also broken into, but nothing was reported to have been stolen.

It has not been confirmed whether the two incidents are related.
