But luckily Jessie doesn’t mind a bit and is quite happy at playing foster mum to the 10 little piggies.

They currently share a barn at Fishers Farm Park in Wisborough Green.

Kunekune pig Marigold gave birth to the multi-coloured mischievous piglets earlier this month but they have now firmly found their trotters and frequently duck under their pen to sneak off and visit the other farm animals.

Jersey cow Jessie is their firm favourite and they love to snuggle up to her for some hogs and kisses.

Jessie takes it all in her stride and lets them nuzzle and play about in her pen before they toddle off back to mummy Marigold.

Jessie is in fact used to playing mum - she sometimes fosters calves and back in 2016 was labelled a ‘miracle Jersey Cow’ because she started to lactate and provide milk for a calf she was fostering.

Nicola Harris from Fishers Farm said: “We couldn’t believe it when we saw the little piglets nuzzling into Jessie’s udders to try and feed!

“Jessie doesn’t seem to mind at all and lets the little piglets have their fun, before toddling back off.”
