Horsham woman with pancreatic cancer wins volunteer of the year award

A Horsham woman who has pancreatic cancer has won the volunteer of the year award.

Trish Law won the award for her ongoing support through Covid and her many years of fundraising for Cancer Research UK.

Trish and her family took part in Race for Life for ten years after which she joined the charity’s East Street shop as a volunteer.

She has helped the shop raise more than £75,000 over the years. But Trish has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

And now her granddaughter Jess Simpson has decided to take part in Race for Life in June to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
