Parents can now apply for child’s school places for 2015

Online applications are open for children who are starting school or moving on to intermediary or secondary schools in 2015.

Parents can register up to three school preferences, and if they want their child to be considered for their catchment school, this must be one of the three.

West Sussex County Council is urging parents not to leave applications until the last minute.

The deadline for applying for intermediate and secondary schools is October 31, and for junior schools is January 15.

School offers will be sent out via email.

Parents should have received a letter from the county council if their child is due to start or move school, but you do not need a letter to apply.

Anyone who does not have home internet access can apply for free at a West Sussex library or children and family centre, however you do need an email address.
