Parents call in vain for rethink over children's centre
PARENTS with children at South Lodge children's centre in Worthing have failed in a concerted attempt to get the cabinet decision to close the centre 'called-in'.
Parent Tim Sorensen said: " Despite emailing all members of the relevant select committee direct with copies of our correspondence, writing again to Robert Back and Mark Dunn, and having some very helpful support from Lib Dem councillor James Walsh, we have been unable to obtain a call-in. Indeed we did not receive single response to our emails and still await a response to our letter to Robert Back and Mark Dunn."
