This business has grown from one man with a vision, to the success it is now, including a record consecutive 68 gold medals at RHS Chelsea, as well as providing planting for places such as the Olympic park.

On Thursday 15 May author Jean Hillier, accompanied by her husband and Chairman of Hillier Nurseries, Robert Hillier OBE VMH, will be visiting Hillier Horsham to share moments from the book, as well as answer some questions about the history of Hillier and sign copies.

The book and the talk are not just for garden enthusiasts, if you have an interest in history as well as business, the anecdotes from the Hillier family are fascinating.

There will be two opportunities to attend the free talk with Jean and Robert at 10.30am and again at 2pm. During the day customers attending the talk will be able to take advantage of a special lunch offer, just mention this when booking.

Copies of the book will also be available to buy at a discounted price of £14.99 (RRP £20).

Places are restricted, to book call Hillier Horsham on 01403 210113.
