From reminiscence and music sessions to gentle exercises and arts and crafts; the day centre will offer a wide range of activities for people with dementia - all within a familiar and safe environment.

Jacqui Parfitt, Alzheimer’s Society Operations Manager for Surrey, said: ‘Being diagnosed with dementia can be a daunting and overwhelming experience but this service offers a calm, social environment in which people with dementia can take part in activities they enjoy and meet new people.

‘There are 2,036 people living with dementia in Waverley and with the right support people can live well with the condition.’

The Day Centre will take place every Monday starting on 6th July from 10am until 4pm at Rowleys Community Centre, Victoria Way, Cranleigh.
