LETTER: Serious blow to local community
I am very disappointed that the council has decided not to replace the indoor bowls centre in the new development at Broadbridge Heath.
I know how much it is enjoyed by many, mostly elderly people and it provides an excellent centre for a sociable outing, a little exercise and some sporting endeavour.
I would urge the council to consider how the existing facilities can be replaced in the new development because the loss of the facility would be a serious blow to the local community.
