The local course was hosted by Horsham DKW Karate club at Kingslea School on 23 May and also attended by members from Cranleigh and Burgess Hill clubs. No fee was charged but donations were requested.

Although attendance was lower than hoped for [probably because of half term] we raised a wonderful £211. The school very generously allowed us the hall free which enabled us to donate everything raised. With a club donation of £500 we were able to send a magnificent £711. Horsham DKW Karate Club is a non profit club and in the past its members have supported the Hemiplegia Society and donated a defibrillator to Kingslea School. Pictures are of the attendees being put through their paces.
