Lisa Harrison, Kathryn Marlow, Emma Northover and Adele Phelan are taking part in the challenge in memory of an amazing little girl called Matilda who knew and played with their children during the time she spent in Horsham before she and her wonderful family moved to Singapore.

Lisa Harrison said: “Sadly, Matilda died in November 2013, aged just four. She is now a shining, dancing star looking over her family and all those who knew her.

“To show our support for her parents, Rachel and Jon, as well as her big sister Jemima, we want to raise as much money as possible for Child Bereavement UK in Matilda’s memory.

“This is an amazing charity which supports families who have lost a child as well as helping children who have suffered a bereavement,” she added.

“With the support of our family and friends we have so far raised £2000. We have had some support from local business who have donated prizes for our raffle.

“We also have had a bench placed in Horsham park in Matilda’s memory as this is where our children spent a lot of time together one summer. The beach is near the conservatory with the plaque - ‘There is no foot so small that it cannot leave a huge imprint on this world.’

“ Matilda we will always remember your smile and beautiful spirt.”
