Event organizer, Debbie Phillips says: “The Annual Family Fun day has been a feature of the Holbrook Clubs’ social calendar for many years and always draws a big crowd.

“This years will be bigger and better, featuring many attractions to keep children busy and entertained, including Claws & Jaws, Owls About Town, Boom Tribe & Drum Dogs, Little Gems Pottery Painting, Busy Days and Pony Parties.”

In addition there will be a bouncy castle and face painting, a chance to try some Touch Rugby or play the lively rhythms and beats of Brazilian samba, perhaps hold an owl or, if you’re brave, a snake, or simply enjoy the old favourites such as candyfloss and ice cream to name just a few of the attractions and stalls available for everybody to enjoy.

Door will open from midday on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May, and the event runs through until 5.00pm.

Claws and Jaws - pop along & visit their marque to see lizards, snakes, spiders & a scorpion, or perhaps buy some official ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now’ bush tucker sweets. Ew, gross...!

Owls About Town - don a glove and have a personal ‘hands on’ experience of your very own. We bring along 5 to 7 little owls to large eagle owls. We chat to everyone about them and even allow them to be held and photographed!

Boom Tribe - Horsham’s very own fully integrated samba band, Boom Tribe, will be performing during the afternoon.

They have performed at the Olympic Park and led out the One Hackney Festival Parade and are sure to get your feet tapping with their lively and catchy Brazilian rhythms. Want to have a go and learn how to play samba?

Look out for the Drum Dogs who will be holding samba workshops all afternoon. The Drum Dogs will teach you to play the lively rhythms and beats of Brazilian samba.

Fun, sometimes frantic but always friendly, drop in and have a go at being part of a samba band. Go on, get a little rhythm in your life!
