BREAKING NEWS: Former Arundel mayor dies

ARUNDEL’S former mayor and town crier Bill Beere has died, it has been announced today (Friday, October 3).

Mr Beere passed away this morning.

Arundel’s current mayor Michael Tu has described Mr Beere’s death as a ‘great loss’ to the community of the town.

He said: “It is with great sadness that I need to tell you Bill Beere passed away this morning.

“My words cannot express how great this loss is to our community.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
